Care Team Leader
We have an exciting opportunity for a Care team leader working from our Head Office in Poole.
This is a busy and varied role and includes the support of new care staff in the completion of the company induction programme, shadowing with new staff to ensure that best practices are observed.
You will also carry out competency assessments with existing staff to ensure that our high company standards in training and care are being met.
You will also be required to assist with care calls on some occasions and various other tasks in the office and out in the community.
We would also like the successful person to be our 'infection control lead' and 'dementia friend'.
You will need to have at least an NVQ 2 in health and social care and have a good understanding of the care certificate, principles of care and the importance of safeguarding adults.
You will need to be proficient in both verbal and written communication and have good IT skills.
You will be required to work a shift pattern of any 5 out of 7 days and this will include some evenings and weekends.

Care and Support Administrator – Dorchester Office
We are currently recruiting for a Care and Support Administrator to work in our Dorchester Office.
If you are already working in a care environment and would like to expand your knowledge and skills to work in an office environment, then this is the ideal job role for you.
Working 3 days a week in the office, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 0900-1600, you will be assisting with administrative duties to include assisting the care coordinator with rotas, general office administration to include supervision and appraisals, filing, photocopying, scanning, sourcing and interviewing candidates for carer roles, booking their training and applying for references, dealing with service users both face to face and on the telephone. You will need to be flexible, outgoing and be great at problem solving.
You will also be required to be on stand by every weekend to cover care calls in the event of sickness, you will then also be paid for care calls on top of your stand by payment, therefore you will need at least 1 year of hands on care experience for this role. Only candidates with previous care experience will be considered for this role.
You will need to be able to drive for the role and undertake or hold an Enhanced DBS check.
