Essential heart Domiciliary Care Coordinator Poole Branch - Full Time

Essential Nursing & Care is a Domiciliary Care provider, providing individualised packages of care to support people to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes and are looking to recruit an experienced Care Coordinator to join our busy and friendly team in our Poole Branch.

The Coordinator will be responsible for preparing weekly rotas and ad-hoc changes to existing rotas, and ensuring our service users receive regular carers at their requested time and that the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.

You will also be responsible for performing supervisions and appraisals with care staff. You may also be required to support and liaise with the recruitment team to ensure that they aware of staffing requirements.

The role also involves liaising with Service Users and other professionals, and participating in the out-of-hours on call service including some weekends.

Applicants should have a good understanding of the Domiciliary Care sector and suitable coordinator experience, with skills in rostering, IT, administration and customer service.

The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator and a methodical worker able to ensure tasks are fully completed in a pressurised environment.

Hours are predominately 08.30 – 17.30 Monday to Friday, although applicants must be flexible as the role may involve occasional work outside of these hours and a commitment to assist with the out of hours on call service.

Essential heart Moving and Handling Trainer

Essential Nursing & Care have a great opportunity to join a small team of dedicated professionals delivering high quality education within their purpose built training suite.

Based at our Head Office in Poole, the purpose of this role is to develop and deliver Moving and Handling training courses and updates for our team of Registered Nurses, Carers and Office Staff.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist or other Healthcare professional with the relevant Moving & Handling training qualification to deliver our training courses once a week.

You will be required to work autonomously, have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a general IT aptitude.

Above all we are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual with a flexible and proactive approach to education delivery.
