Amy Hunter, Sally Anstee and Tracy Lethaby are moving onto pastures new and we wish them every success with their future endeavours. We have some new team members joining us, Susan White is working alongside our team of carers in the Dorchester branch as our Domiciliary Care Coordinator. Kelly Greenly-Jones is joining us as our Deputy Domiciliary Manager, working alongside Sophie Smith. Kelly has a wealth of experience in the domiciliary sector and is looking forward to working and supporting her team to grow the domiciliary department. Our summer raffle was a huge success with over 80 prizes donated and £2,000 raised for Forest Holme Hospice. This worthy charity is extremely close to our hearts and we are humbled to be able to support them.

We are still on track with our £3,000 target and are working hard to think of new ideas to raise the last £1,000. These include, charity tuck box, all proceeds of which are donated. Not only do we give staff a Friday afternoon sugar rush, we are also raising funds too! Charity stalls at local events and local produce sales within our offices.

This week we presented Hannah Parsons from Forest Holme with a cheque for £2,000. This wonderful amount, coupled with previous fundraising totals, means that the team at Essential have donated over £5,000 to Forest Holme over the past three years.

We continue to give away free money for anyone who recommends staff to us! Carolyn Leonard was our latest staff member to receive a thank you from us for recommending a friend and popped into our Head Office to collect £150 from Jess in our accounts team.
“Thank you so much for raising an absolutely fantastic amount of money for Forest Holme. We are incredibly grateful for your support. There are not many companies that put in such a huge amount of effort as you have."

We are delighted to now be working alongside Marie Curie, assisting with both their palliative care nights and Fast Track Assessments. These are such rewarding positions and enable our staff to work with service users at their hour of need.
